Nigerians Demand Justice for Ochanya Seven Years After Tragic Death

Nigerians are renewing calls for justice for Ochanya Ogbanje, a 13-year-old who died due to complications from years of sexual abuse. Victor Ogbuja and his son, Andrew Ogbuja, were accused of serially raping Ochanya, leading to her death.

While Andrew was acquitted of rape and manslaughter charges, his wife, Felicia Ochiga Ogbuja, was convicted of negligence. Victor Ogbuja remains a fugitive despite active arrest warrants.

Social media campaigns, including by Tunde Ednut, are demanding justice for Ochanya on her death anniversary.
