Shakara Festival to Debut in Lekki with Diverse African Music Lineup

The inaugural Shakara Festival is scheduled for December 18-21, 2025, at Nautica Beach Resort in Lekki. The event aims to attract 20,000 daily guests, including diasporan music lovers and festival-goers across Africa.

Featuring music, panel sessions, a bustling marketplace, and live performances by Afrobeat, alt-soul, gospel, and Afro-fusion acts, the festival is positioned as a cultural movement celebrating African creativity. Godson Oriaku, the CEO and founder of Shakara Festival, envisions the event as a groundbreaking platform for showcasing diverse sounds and connecting people through music and culture.
