Queen Thompson Wins ₦150 Million SUV in Guinness Promo

Queen Thompson was announced as the grand prize winner of the Guinness (NGX: GUINNESS) Open For More promotion, winning a brand-new Toyota Land Cruiser Prado valued at ₦150 million. Initially skeptical due to previous experiences with scams, she was surprised when a Guinness representative informed her of her win.

Her entry was submitted weeks earlier while enjoying Guinness Foreign Extra Stout with friends in Akwa Ibom, where she entered the promotional code found under her bottle cap. The official prize presentation took place at Guinness Nigeria’s headquarters in Ogba, Lagos.

This event marked the conclusion of a 10-week national consumer promotion, which rewarded a total of 1,075 Nigerians, including 75 winners who received ₦1 million each and another 1,000 who won ₦100,000 each. The promotion aimed to appreciate consumers who choose Guinness brands, providing tangible rewards from everyday purchases.
