Bola Tinubu Advocates Religious Tolerance and Unity for National Security

Bola Tinubu, at an interfaith dialogue event at Bayero University Kano, stressed the importance of religious tolerance and peaceful coexistence for Nigeria's security and development. He praised Sheikh Gummi as a teacher and reformer who played a significant role in promoting national unity during critical historical moments.

Tinubu urged Nigerians to reject intolerance and uphold unity to combat challenges facing the nation. He emphasized the need for mutual respect among citizens and highlighted the government's commitment to protecting lives and properties.

Tinubu disclosed the deployment of 7,000 trained forest guards nationwide to combat criminal activities. The event was attended by prominent Islamic scholars, including Abdullahi Bala Lau and Shehu Ahmad Galad, among others.
