Kano State Shura Council Urges Public Restraint Amid Sheikh Triumph Blasphemy Allegations

The Kano State Shura Council has urged the public to refrain from making further comments on the alleged blasphemous act by Sheikh Abubakar Lawan Triumph against Prophet Muhammad SAW. The Council emphasized the need for peace and harmony in the state, warning that continuous comments on the issue could incite passion.

Secretary of the council, Malam Shehu Wada Sagagi, highlighted the importance of deep Islamic knowledge to address the matter and called for restraint from making inflammatory remarks. A committee has been set up to deliberate on the issue, with Sheikh Triumph invited to defend himself.

The council is committed to ensuring a fair and impartial hearing for all parties involved.
