Shell and Sunlink Energy Approve New Offshore Gas Project in Nigeria

Shell and Sunlink Energy have jointly approved the development of a new offshore gas project in Nigeria, known as the Hi Project. The project aims to produce 350 million standard cubic feet of gas per day, supplying the Nigeria LNG plant and reinforcing the country's capacity for liquefied natural gas export.

Located 50 kilometers off Nigeria's coast at a depth of 100 meters, the field was originally discovered in 1985 but remained undeveloped until this agreement. Sunlink Energy will hold a 60% interest, while Shell will retain 40%.
