Shettima Urges APC Unity for 2027 Election Victory

On Thursday, Vice President Kashim Shettima addressed All Progressives Congress (APC) stakeholders in Abuja, urging them to work towards the party's overall victory in the upcoming 2027 general elections. Shettima, who participated in the APC governorship primary election for Borno State, emphasized the need for unity among party members, encouraging them to "bury the hatchet" and commit to the party's success.

He expressed confidence in Mustapha Gubio, the party's governorship flagbearer, and called for collective efforts to deliver economic growth and security for a brighter future in the state. Shettima reiterated the importance of aligning with the broader agenda of President Bola Tinubu's administration to ensure a prosperous Nigeria.

Governor Babagana Umara Zulum of Borno State also thanked stakeholders for their support and endorsed Gubio's candidacy, promising to advance the state's development. Shettima was accompanied by notable APC figures, including Ali Bukar Dalori and M.T.
