SheVentures Expands Interest-free Loans to N1bn for Women Entrepreneurs

SheVentures, an initiative by First City Monument Bank (FCMB), has increased its interest-free loan pool for women entrepreneurs to N1 billion. The initiative aims to support women in various sectors with access to loans ranging from N10 million, with a three-month moratorium.

Beneficiaries will also receive business management training and structured mentorship to aid in their business growth. Yemisi Edun, the Managing Director of FCMB, highlighted the importance of empowering women in entrepreneurship to drive economic growth in Nigeria.

Over 300 women have already benefited from SheVentures, showcasing the success of targeted interventions in supporting women-led businesses.
