Moses Simon Achieves 100 Caps for Nigeria's Super Eagles

During an Africa Cup of Nations qualifier at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Moses Simon made his 100th appearance for the Super Eagles, officially becoming the fifth player in Nigerian history to reach this milestone. Simon, who debuted in 2015 at the age of 19, was substituted in the 61st minute for Akor Moses, marking his 109th cap.

Before the match, he was presented with a commemorative jersey, acknowledging his decade-long commitment to the national team. Super Eagles head coach Eric Chelle praised Simon as "the ultimate professional," emphasizing the discipline and sacrifice required to achieve 100 caps.

Team captain expressed admiration for Simon, referring to him as "the Trojan," highlighting his inspiring presence on the field. Simon joins the ranks of notable players such as Vincent Enyeama, Alex Iwobi, Joseph Yobo, and Ahmed Musa, who have also achieved this significant milestone in Nigerian football.
