IPOB Warns Anambra Governor Soludo Over Sit-at-Home Protest Threats

The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) issued a warning to Anambra State Governor Chukwuma Soludo after he threatened to sanction civil servants who participated in the sit-at-home protest. IPOB emphasized that the sit-at-home protest is a legal and peaceful civil disobedience in solidarity with their leader, Nnamdi Kanu, who is currently detained.

They criticized Soludo's threats and urged him to focus on governance rather than coercion. The group highlighted that the protest is not an act of rebellion but a peaceful expression of dissent against perceived injustices.

IPOB cautioned against the establishment of task forces to enforce compliance, stating that such actions would be seen as oppressive and against the spirit of Biafra. They emphasized that participation in the sit-at-home protest is voluntary and not coerced by IPOB.
