Super Eagles Add Six Players for Iran, Jordan Friendlies

The Super Eagles have expanded their training camp in Antalya, Turkey, with the addition of six new players ahead of upcoming international friendlies against Iran and Jordan. The new players joined the squad on Wednesday morning, following the initial arrival of the full squad on Tuesday.

Key players in the squad include Fisayo Bashiru, Alex Iwobi, Emmanuel Oluwasegun, Yira Sor, Paul Onuachu, and others, totaling 21 players. The team is scheduled to train at 4 PM local time (2 PM Nigerian time) on Wednesday.

Coach Eric Chell has appointed Wilfred Ndidi as the captain for these matches. The decision to hold the friendlies in Antalya was influenced by security concerns in the Middle East, with Nigeria set to face Iran on March 27 and Jordan on March 31.
