Broda Shaggi Thanks Fans After Prolonged Absence

Samuel Perry, known as Broda Shaggi, a prominent Nigerian skit maker and actor, has publicly thanked his fans for their unwavering support during his recent absence from the entertainment scene. In a heartfelt message shared on his WhatsApp channel on a Friday, Shaggi acknowledged the concern from fans due to his lack of public engagements and online activity.

He expressed deep appreciation for their patience and loyalty, promising to reconnect with them soon, although he did not provide a specific return date. His silence followed reports of an alleged shooting incident while filming a comedy skit in the Sango-Ota area of Ogun State, which led to an investigation by the Ogun State Police Command.

The police confirmed that Shaggi sustained a gunshot injury to his thigh and was treated at a hospital in Alakuko before being referred to another facility in Ikeja. The Ogun State Police urged the public to refrain from spreading unverified information regarding the incident.
