Save Nigeria Group USA Lauds US-Nigeria Working Group on Security and Religious Freedom Inauguration

The Save Nigeria Group USA (SNG USA) has commended the inauguration of the US-Nigeria Working Group on Security and Religious Freedom in Abuja. The group highlighted the critical nature of the bilateral engagement, particularly in light of Nigeria's security crisis and the targeted persecution faced by the Christian community.

Led by American Secretary Allison Hooker and Nigeria's National Security Adviser Nuhu Ribadu, the working group aims to enhance security cooperation and counterterrorism efforts while promoting religious freedom. SNG USA urged immediate joint US-Nigeria military intervention to secure the release of abducted Christians and dismantle terrorist networks.

The group expressed cautious optimism about the leadership of President Donald Trump and Secretary of State Marco Rubio in prioritizing international religious freedom. SNG USA emphasized the importance of concrete actions to protect civilians and ensure justice for victims of violence in Nigeria.
