APC's Ukachukwu Defeats Soludo in Anambra Polling Unit

In the Anambra gubernatorial election, Nicholas Ukachukwu of the APC defeated Governor Charles Soludo in his polling unit in Umudimala, Osumenyi. The count began early, with Ukachukwu scoring 126 votes to Soludo's six.

Ukachukwu had earlier alleged voter intimidation by the APC's agents at various polling centers. INEC's presiding officer, Esther Ojukwu, announced the results.

Ukachukwu blamed the "buyer-seller" trend in politics for the intimidation tactics aimed at disrupting participation.
