INEC Declares Chukwuma Soludo Winner of Anambra Governorship Election

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared Prof. Chukwuma Soludo as the winner of the Anambra State governorship election.

Soludo contested on the platform of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) and defeated 15 other candidates, including Nicholas Ukachukwu of the Progress Congress (APC) and Paul Chukwuma of the Young Progressives Party (YPP). The total valid votes cast were 584,054, with Soludo garnering 422,664 votes.

The election was held peacefully, with Soludo meeting the requirements to be declared the winner.
