Southwest Governors Meet in Ibadan to Address Rising Insecurity

Six Southwest governors gathered in Ibadan to address rising insecurity, particularly after the church attack in Kwara. The closed-door meeting centered on security and geopolitical issues in the region, with Lagos Governor Sanwo-Olu leading as the chairman of the South West Governor Forum.

The governors discussed economic growth, security, and protection of lives and properties. Recent incidents, including the abduction of students in Niger State and Kwara church attack, were highlighted.
