Sowore Demands Release of Regina Daniels' Brother Amid Allegations of Political Influence

Human rights activist Omoyele Sowore has called for the immediate release of Samuel Ojeogwu, the brother of Nollywood actress Regina Daniels, who is currently held at the Keffi Correct Center Magistrate Court in Abuja. Sowore alleges that Senator Ned Nwoko influenced Ojeogwu's detention, claiming that the lawmaker worked with the Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, to ensure Ojeogwu remains in custody.

Sowore condemns this as an abuse of state power and calls for the withdrawal of charges against Ojeogwu. Both Senator Nwoko and the Nigeria Police Force have not publicly responded to Sowore's allegations.
