Spotify has named Ayra Starr as the biggest female Afrobeats artist in the last 12 months, leading the list of the top 5 female Afrobeats artists. The Nigerian singer surpassed other prominent artists like Tems, Libianca, Aya Nakamura, and Darkoo.

Interestingly, South African singer Tyla was notably absent from the list despite her achievements in the past year. Additionally, Spotify released a list of the top 5 Afrobeats artists in Latin America, with Nigerian musicians dominating the rankings.

Rema claimed the top spot, followed by Ayra Starr and CKay, while Burna Boy and Wizkid secured the fourth and fifth positions, respectively, showcasing the global influence of Nigerian music.
