Bandits Attack Government College in Kebbi, Abduct 25 Schoolgirls

In a tragic incident in Kebbi, armed bandits attacked Government Girls Comprehensive Secondary School, resulting in the death of a staff member, Hassan Makuku, and injuries to another staff member, Ali Shehu. The bandits abducted 25 schoolgirls, prompting a response from the Kebbi State Police Command led by CSP Nafiu Abubakar Kotarkoshi.

Security forces engaged in a gun duel with the assailants, but the bandits managed to escape with the students. The police are collaborating with the military and local vigilantes to ensure the safe return of the abducted students.

Kebbi State Commissioner of Police, Bello M. Sani, emphasized the commitment to safeguard lives and property in the state.
