Stanbic IBTC Reports N150bn Q3 Profit Surge

Stanbic IBTC Holdings PLC has announced a pre-tax profit of N150 billion in the third quarter of 2025, marking a substantial rise of 91.78% from N78.2 billion in the corresponding period of 2024. The group's nine-month pre-tax profit stands at N393.8 billion, a 76.66% year-on-year increase.

The strong performance was primarily driven by solid top-line growth, with interest income rising by 11.06% to N199.5 billion. The total assets on the balance sheet increased to N8.3 trillion from N6.9 trillion, with loans and advances accounting for the largest share at N2.6 trillion.
