Steve Nicol Critiques Chelsea After 3-0 Everton Loss

Steve Nicol, a former Liverpool defender and current analyst for ESPN FC, expressed his discontent with Chelsea's performance after their 3-0 defeat to Everton at Dickinson Stadium. The loss marked Chelsea's fourth consecutive defeat in all competitions.

Nicol accused the Chelsea players of lacking drive and urgency throughout the match. Everton's Beto scored twice in the 33rd and 62nd minutes, while Iliman Ndiaye added a third goal in the 76th minute, sealing the victory for Everton.

Despite Chelsea enjoying 64% possession and completing 617 passes with an accuracy of 89%, they struggled to dominate the game, registering only four shots on target compared to Everton's nine. Chelsea remains sixth in the Premier League table with 48 points from 31 matches, just two points above Everton.
