Nigerian Herdsmen Condemn Bandit Killings, Urge End to Violence in Northwest

The Kulen Allah Cattle Rearer Association of Nigeria (KACRAN) has strongly denounced the brutal killings and destruction of property by bandits in the northwestern region of Nigeria. The association's president, Khalil Mohammed Bello, called on the bandits and vigilante groups to cease the violence that has targeted innocent Nigerians, particularly pastoralists.

Bello highlighted the vulnerability of pastoral communities to external threats and criticized the breach of peace agreements in states like Katsina, Kano, and Zamfara, where bandits have violated reconciliation deals by launching attacks and abductions. KACRAN emphasized the need to prioritize the protection of innocent pastoralists facing rural violence.
