NSC Chairman Denies Owed Salary Allegations to Super Eagles Head Coach Eric Chelle

The Chairman of the National Sports Commission (NSC), Dikko, has addressed allegations that Eric Chelle, the head coach of the Super Eagles, is owed three months' salary. Dikko clarified that Chelle is being paid and not owed any backlog of salary.

The NSC is supporting the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) by paying Chelle's salary on behalf of the NFF. This statement comes in response to false reports circulating in the sports media.

Chelle took on the role of head coach in January 2025.
