Nigerian Star Tolu Arokodare Set to Join Wolves in Record Transfer Deal

Nigerian footballer Tolu Arokodare has reached a principle agreement to join English Premier League club Wolverhampton Wanderers from Dutch side Genk for a reported fee of over €20 million. Arokodare, who hails from Lagos, has been in impressive form, scoring 40 goals in 112 appearances since joining Genk in 2023.

This potential move would make him the most expensive sale in Genk's history, surpassing the fee Sheffield United paid for Sander Berge. Arokodare is set to undergo a medical before finalizing the deal, adding to the list of Nigerian players making significant moves to top European leagues.
