Super Eagles Threaten Boycott Over Unpaid Allowances Ahead of Gabon Clash

The Nigerian national football team, Super Eagles, are in turmoil as players threaten to boycott the Gabon match due to unpaid allowances dating back several years. The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has not released an official statement, adding to the uncertainty.

Despite assurances from the Nation Sport Commission (NSC) about fund releases, players demand outstanding payments before the game. Super Eagles captain William Troost Ekong confirmed the dispute, highlighting financial troubles within the NFF.

The team is scheduled to face Gabon in Rabat, Morocco, on Thursday.
