Atiku Calls for Suspension of Payments on N7.5bn Coastal Highway Project

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has demanded the suspension of further payments on the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway project, criticizing Bola Tinubu's administration for lack of transparency in publishing contract details. The project, awarded by Minister of Works Dave Umahi at a cost of N7.5 billion per kilometer, has sparked widespread controversy.

Atiku's media aide, Phrank Shuaibu, issued a statement on Wednesday highlighting the need for full disclosure of the project's contractual specifics.
