Sylva's Aide Responds to EFCC's Wanted Notice, Denies Coup Plot Allegations

Julius Bokoru, an aide to former Bayelsa State Governor Timipre Sylva, has broken his silence on the EFCC's wanted notice. Bokoru revealed that Sylva will honor the EFCC's invitation after completing medical checks in the UK.

The EFCC accused Sylva of financial crimes related to transactions involving the Nigerian Content Development Monitoring Board and Atlantic International Refinery and Petrochemical Limited. Additionally, there were speculations of a coup plot involving Sylva, which Bokoru vehemently denied, attributing it to a smear campaign.

Sylva's commitment to due process and cooperation with the EFCC was emphasized.
