Take Action Campaign: Why young Nigerians should be supported to seek political office – Emmanuel Njoku

The Youth Parliament Forum (YIPF) in Nigeria, ahead of the 2027 general election, has launched the Take Action Campaign (TAC) to support young Nigerians seeking political office. The campaign aims to ensure effective participation of the youth in politics by providing funding for individuals from different political parties.

The YIPF, led by Director General Tony Nwulu, has partnered with Dr. Emmanuel Njoku, Chairman of the Emma Njoku Foundation, to implement the campaign.

Njoku emphasized the importance of giving young Nigerians, including those in the diaspora, a platform to contribute to national development through politics. The initiative also aims to bridge the gap for young people who lack access to funds to participate in politics.

In addition to supporting aspiring politicians, the campaign targets at least 20 million registered young voters for the 2027 election.
