Nigerian Rep. Criticizes Minority Caucus Report on Alleged Tax Law Alterations

Rep. Philip Agbes of the House of Representatives criticized the Minority Caucus' interim report on alleged tax law alterations as belated, stating that the issues raised have already been addressed.

The report highlighted discrepancies in different versions of tax laws passed by the National Assembly, particularly the Nigeria Tax Administration Act. Speaker Tajudeen Abba and Senate President Godswil Akpabio are working to ensure the release of authentic versions of the tax reform acts.

Agbes emphasized the leadership's commitment to transparency and due process in resolving legislative anomalies.
