Nigeria to Commence Tax Reforms on January 1, 2026 for Economic Growth

The Chairman of the Presidential Fiscal Policy Tax Reform Committee, Taiwo Oyedele, announced that new tax reforms will start on January 1, 2026. The reforms, supported by the Nation Tax Policy Implementation Committee chaired by Joseph Tegbe and with the backing of prominent figures like Bola Tinubu, are intended to provide relief to Nigerians and stimulate economic growth.

Oyedele emphasized that the reforms aim to promote economic growth and inclusive prosperity in the country.
