Team Nigeria Eyes Medal Glory at 2025 World Athletics Championships in Tokyo

Nigeria gears up for the 20th World Athletics Championships in Tokyo, aiming for medal success led by discus thrower Obiageri Pamela Amaechi. The team, under the leadership of former World 100m hurdle champion Tobi Amusan and 400m hurdler Nathaniel Ezekiel, targets podium finishes.

Amaechi, with a bronze medal from the Commonwealth Games, seeks to excel in the discus throw event. Ezekiel aims to match the African record and secure a spot in the final.
