Tems Secures Two Nominations at 2026 Soul Train Awards
Tems, a Grammy-winning Nigerian singer, has earned two nominations at the 2026 Soul Train Awards. She is nominated for R&B/Soul Song of the Year for her hit track “What You Need” and also for Spotify’s RNB X International Artist category.
This achievement makes Tems the only artist nominated in both of the newly introduced fan-voted categories at this year's awards. In the R&B/Soul Song of the Year category, she will compete against notable international artists including Bruno Mars, Chris Brown, Bryson Tiller, Daniel Caesar, Justin Bieber, Kehlani, Olivia Dean, and Tyla.
The Soul Train Awards celebrate the best in R&B and soul music, and Tems' nominations highlight her growing influence and recognition in the music industry.
