Primate Elijah Ayodele Raises Alarm Over Terrorist Plot to Overthrow Northern Governors

Primate Elijah Ayodele, a spiritual leader in the Inri Evangelical Spiritual Church, has issued a statement raising concerns about a terrorist group's plan to execute a coup against Northern governors in Nigeria. Ayodele highlighted the coordinated efforts of insurgent elements to forcibly remove state governors and traditional rulers from their positions.

He emphasized the need for immediate security overhauls in the North to prevent potential security breaches and protect the nation from embarrassment. Ayodele specifically named ten states, including Borno, Bauchi, Katsina, and others, as primary targets for major attacks within the next three months.

He urged the military to remain on high alert and emphasized the importance of fortifying soft targets like schools and markets to prevent mass casualties. Ayodele also warned against actions that could escalate tensions, referencing Governor Charles Soludo's economic revival efforts in Anambra State.
