Fresh Violence Erupts in Northern Nigeria After US Airstrikes, Terrorists Defiant

Following US airstrikes targeting Islamic State-linked fighters in northwestern Nigeria, terrorists, including bandits, Boko Haram, and ISWAP militants, launched fresh attacks in several northern states. The violence resulted in the deaths of at least 47 people and the abduction of 35 others across states like Adamawa, Zamfara, Kwara, Plateau, Nasarawa, Yobe, Kano, Kebbi, Kogi, and Niger.

The attacks showed defiance against foreign military actions, with President Donald Trump warning of further assaults. The incidents included abductions, killings, and injuries, indicating a concerning escalation in security threats in the region.
