Damilola Adegbite, a 41-year-old Nollywood actress, has observed a significant shift in the Nigerian dating landscape during a discussion on her YouTube channel. She noted that younger men are showing a growing interest in older women, particularly those in their late 30s and 40s.

Traditionally, society has made older women feel that their dating prospects diminish after reaching a certain age. However, Adegbite claims this perception is changing, as younger men are becoming more open about their attraction to older women.

She stated, “When society made older women feel like once we have crossed a certain age, you should basically leave the dating market quietly,” highlighting the evolving attitudes towards age and relationships in Nigeria.
