Chioma Akpotha Grieves Father’s Death, Now Orphaned

Nollywood actress Chioma Akpotha announced the death of her father on Instagram, expressing her heartbreak at being left without either parent, 13 years after the passing of her mother. She conveyed her gratitude that her father lived long enough to witness the lives of his children and grandchildren, although she had wished he could meet his great-grandchildren.

Chioma shared that she initially kept the news private to process her grief before deciding to inform the public. She requested prayers for herself, her siblings, and the entire Chukwuka family as they cope with their loss.

Chioma described her late father as the Olowo of Ikate and concluded her tribute with a heartfelt declaration of love. Chioma Chukwuka Akpotha is recognized as a veteran actress, producer, and director in Nollywood, with a career spanning over two decades.
