Roy De-Nani Reveals Nollywood Blacklist Struggles

Roy De-Nani, a veteran Nollywood actor, opened up about his experiences with being blacklisted in the film industry, which he claims led to a significant decline in his acting opportunities. He described a painful period when producers abruptly removed him from projects, even those that had already begun filming.

De-Nani attributed this to alleged instructions given against him within the industry. He also shared the emotional toll of losing his brother, which left him feeling abandoned, as none of his colleagues in Nollywood offered support during this difficult time.

Additionally, De-Nani discussed the tragic loss of his children, who suffered from sickle cell disorder and required regular blood transfusions. Financial difficulties prevented him from affording the necessary medical care, ultimately leading to their deaths.

Despite these hardships, De-Nani expressed a belief that people may not fully understand the challenges faced by individuals in similar situations.
