Peter Obi Accuses NFF of Abandoning FIFA Stadium Project in Anambra

Former Anambra State Governor and 2023 Labour Party Presidential candidate, Peter Obi, has accused the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) of failing to deliver on the FIFA-funded stadium project promised to Anambra State. Obi expressed disappointment in the NFF's alleged abandonment of the project, redirecting state resources to construct mini stadiums instead.

He highlighted the missed opportunities for youth development and called for a thorough investigation into the financial management of the NFF. The NFF denied any wrongdoing, stating that FIFA and CAF funds were properly audited and used for specific purposes.
