Thomas Tuchel Extends England Contract Until Euro 2028, Ensuring Long-Term Stability

Thomas Tuchel, the current England national team manager, has signed a contract extension that will keep him in charge until the conclusion of Euro 2028. Tuchel initially took over in January 2025, and his contract was set to expire after the upcoming World Cup.

The extension ensures long-term stability for the Three Lions, removing uncertainties during crucial international periods. Tuchel's commitment to lead England through the 2028 European Championship, which will be co-hosted by England, Wales, Scotland, and the Republic of Ireland, aims to capitalize on the rare opportunity to guide the team on home soil.

Despite previous links to the Manchester United job, Tuchel has reaffirmed his dedication to the England role. His coaching staff, including Anthony Barry, Henriqu Hilario, Nico Mayer, and James Melbourn, have also signed contracts until 2028.

Under Tuchel's guidance, England has had a strong start in World Cup qualifying, winning all eight matches. The team is set to face Croatia, Ghana, and Panama in the group stage of the tournament.
