Thor Explorations Announces High-Grade Mineralisation Intersected At Segilola In Ilesha

Thor Explorations Ltd, a mineral exploration and mining company, reported positive results from its advanced diamond drilling program at the Segilola Gold Mine in Ilesha, Osun State. The Segilola Gold Project covers a large area in the Ilesha Schist Belt.

Key highlights from the drilling include Drillhole SNMDD060 with 1.8 meters at 29.5 grams per tonne of gold, Drillhole SNMDD061 with 2 meters at 22.2 grams per tonne of gold, and Drillhole SNMDD059. Segun Lawson, President and CEO, expressed delight at the progress of the deep diamond drilling program, which has generated significant gold intersections.

The company aims to extend the mine life at Segilola through ongoing drilling programs to upgrade the inferred resource and increase the overall underground resource. The increased exploration budget for the year will also allow for a faster and more flexible drilling program.
