Actor Bolanle Ninalowo Appointed in Youth Advocacy Group, Femi Kuti Honored

Nollywood actor Bolanle Ninalowo has been appointed as the Atlanta Unit State Coordinator for a youth-focused advocacy group aimed at connecting Nigerian youths at home and in the diaspora with government policies and programs. Meanwhile, Femi Kuti, the son of legendary musician Fela Anikulapo Kuti, was honored with a lifetime achievement award for his global recognition in fearlessly confronting dictatorship and corruption in Nigeria and across Africa. Femi Kuti emphasized the significance of his father's music in resisting political oppression, particularly during the era of military rule in Nigeria.
