Bola Tinubu Appoints Committee for Nigeria's New Tax Reform

Bola Tinubu, through the National Tax Policy Implementation Committee (NTPIC), is implementing a new tax reform in Nigeria to build a fair, transparent, and modern tax system supporting economic growth. The committee, chaired by Sanyad Okoli, will ensure effective implementation of the tax act to boost revenue, reduce leakages, and strengthen the economy.

The reform includes new tax laws and a fiscal regime anchored by four legislations. The goal is to enhance revenue mobilization, minimize leakages, and reinforce accountability in governance.
