Bola Tinubu Appoints Adesayo Olusegun Michael as NEMSA MD and Board Members

Bola Tinubu, a prominent Nigerian politician, has approved the appointment of Adesayo Olusegun Michael as the Managing Director of the Nigerian Electricity Management Services Agency (NEMSA). Michael, with extensive experience in Nigeria's electricity management sector, will lead as the Chief Electrical Inspector of the agency.

Additionally, Tinubu has named other key members to NEMSA's board, including Aliyu Abdulazeez, Ikechi Clara Nwosu, Zubair Abdur Rauf Idri Igba, Sani Alhaji Shehu, Adeyemi Adetunji, Emmanuel Eneji Nkpe, Charl Ogbonna Asogwa, and Chidi Ugwu. These appointments aim to enhance regulatory oversight and service delivery within Nigeria's electricity sector.

Adesayo Olusegun Michael's background as a former pioneer staff member of the Electricity Management Services pre-privatization era positions him well to drive compliance and safety standards in the sector.
