Tinubu Appoints Yakubu Jang as Senior Special Assistant

President Bola Tinubu appointed Yakubu Jang, the son of former Plateau State Governor Jonah Jang, as Senior Special Assistant in the Office of the President. This announcement was made on Saturday by Vice President Kashim Shettima, who delivered a goodwill message on behalf of President Tinubu at the 80th birthday celebration of elder statesman and former Governor Jonah Jang, along with the public presentation of his autobiography in Jos, Plateau State.

Vice President Shettima expressed pleasure in announcing Yakubu Jang's appointment at the high-profile event attended by notable figures including former President Goodluck Jonathan, Governor of Plateau State Caleb Mutfwang, Governor of Taraba State Dr. Agbu Kefas, Deputy Governor of Plateau State Mrs.

Josephine Piyo, and other senior federal and state government officials. Accompanying the Vice President were the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Prof.
