Tinubu Praises Oyetola's Maritime Contributions on Birthday

President Bola Tinubu congratulated Adegboyega Isiaka Oyetola, the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, on his birthday, commending his significant contributions to the development of Nigeria’s maritime sector. In a statement released by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, Tinubu praised Oyetola's commitment to advancing the administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda through initiatives designed to unlock the economic potential of the maritime industry.

He noted that under Oyetola’s leadership, the ministry has implemented measures to enhance efficiency, attract investment, create jobs, and bolster Nigeria’s competitiveness in the global maritime arena. Tinubu characterized Oyetola as a distinguished technocrat and dedicated patriot, highlighting his extensive experience in public administration and governance.

He acknowledged Oyetola’s prior career in the insurance industry and his service as Chief of Staff to the Osun State governor before becoming the governor himself. Tinubu urged Oyetola to continue his dedicated service to Nigeria and prayed for his good health and wisdom.
