Tinubu's Commitment to Senior Citizens and Youth Welfare

During a media prayer session held at the Presidential Villa in Aguda, Lagos, Omobolanle Akinyemi-Obe, the Director General of the National Senior Citizens Centre (NSCC), reaffirmed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's commitment to the welfare of senior citizens and youth in Nigeria. Akinyemi-Obe described Tinubu's leadership as inclusive and people-focused, highlighting ongoing efforts to strengthen protections for older persons and promote their dignity.

She noted the importance of investing in youth, emphasizing that social welfare and healthcare should cater to vulnerable groups. Akinyemi-Obe encouraged youth to embrace mentorship from older generations and highlighted the student loan scheme as a significant reform aimed at expanding access to higher education.

She expressed confidence in Tinubu's leadership and the potential for Nigeria's economic recovery, dismissing concerns from political opposition ahead of the 2027 elections.
