Tinubu Directs Defence Minister to Kebbi Over Schoolgirls Abduction

Former Governor of Zamfara State, Bello Matawalle, has been directed by Bola Tinubu to move to Kebbi State to handle the abduction of 25 schoolgirls. Matawalle, with experience in dealing with banditry, will monitor security operations for the safe return of the students.

This directive comes after recent abductions in Zamfara and Kebbi states. Tinubu postponed his trip to South Africa and Angola for security updates on the Kebbi schoolgirl kidnapping and the attack on a church in Kwara State.
