Tinubu Launches Akwanga-Kaduna-Jos Road Construction

On Wednesday, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu officially flagged off the construction of the Akwanga-Kaduna-Jos-Bauchi-Gombe-Biu-Maiduguri road in Akwanga Local Government Area, Nasarawa State. This initiative aims to boost Nigeria's transport system and improve the living standards of its citizens.

Tinubu, representing the All Progressives Congress (APC), urged Nigerians to continue supporting his administration beyond 2027 to enjoy the dividends of democracy. The project includes the commissioning of a 3.7 km dualized Akwanga road with an underpass, which Governor Abdullahi Sule praised for addressing congestion issues, particularly during festive periods.

Tinubu commended Sule for his efforts in infrastructure development and emphasized the road's significance for security, economic growth, and connectivity between states. The project is expected to enhance the overall transport network in the region.
