Tinubu Celebrates Mark Okoye's 40th Birthday and Service

President Bola Tinubu extended his congratulations to Mark Okoye, the Managing Director of the South East Development Commission (SEDC), on the occasion of his 40th birthday, which falls on June 15. In a goodwill message issued on Sunday, Tinubu commended Okoye for his 14-year record of public service, describing him as a dedicated and resilient leader whose career reflects a commitment to excellence.

Okoye previously served as the Managing Director of the Anambra State Investment Promotion and Protection Agency and held the position of Special Adviser to the Governor of Anambra State. Tinubu acknowledged Okoye's achievements in state and federal service and noted his leadership qualities that drive development initiatives in the South East region.

The President urged the SEDC chief not to relent in delivering the commission's mandate and stressed the importance of sustaining commitment to the region's economic growth. Tinubu further described Okoye as a youth-centric leader and expressed confidence in the capacity of young Nigerians to contribute meaningfully to the country's progress.
