Oyedele: Tinubu Lacks Power to Suspend New Tax Laws, Warns of Legal and Financial Implications

Taiwo Oyedele, chairman of the Presidential Committee on Fiscal Policy Tax Reform, stated that Bola Tinubu, a prominent political figure, does not possess the constitutional power to suspend recently passed tax laws in Nigeria. Oyedele emphasized that the President alone cannot unilaterally halt the operation of laws passed by the National Assembly and officially gazetted.
